Summer is a wonderful time for dancing. Whether on the lawn, on the beach or with the window open – the warm days invite you to connect with the elements: Feel the wind on your skin, jump into the cool water or walk barefoot across the grass. What comes to mind?

The summer workshop on contact and dance improvisation will take place at Ballhaus Goldfisch on July 27, 2024 from 10 am – 2 pm. We have a large dance room available here. The wonderful impressions of summer can be used in the workshop to create free dance. The possibilities of individual expression can be explored and expanded. The moment of connecting is also addressed, as well as possibilities for a more conscious integration of the encounter into the dance. The focus will therefore be on sensitizing our perception, integrating impressions into the dance and making contact in the dance.

In the workshop I will work with methods from contact improvisation. I also use approaches from my performance work to create solo dance sequences. The course is adressed to people who like to move freely and are keen to experiment. Participation is also possible without prior knowledge.
