World Dance Day is just around the corner! Established in 1982 by the International Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI-UNESCO), this day celebrates the diverse forms of dance. It is a call to celebrate dance, to highlight its global nature, and to transcend political and social boundaries.

To mark the occasion, a small public dance event will take place on 29 April 2026 at the Credner Anlagen in Greifswald. The meadows in front of the zoo will become a dance floor for contact improvisation! From 6 pm to 7 pm, you can join in the dancing or watch from the sidelines, beneath the trees and amidst the birdsong! You are warmly invited!
