Working methods

I am exploring and investigating the phenomenon of being-in-resonance-with by using artistic means. To that I use traditional techniques, participatory methods, and digital media and in some cases allow them to flow into one another. Mainly I work with paintings and with performances, in which I like to integrate dance elements.

In some of my performative works, aspects from painting and movement appear simultaneously. The various fields of work are explored by myself in relation to each other and in regard to the potential for each other. This results in insights into working processes and their complexity on different levels of art creation.

My artistic work focusses on the relationship of human beeings to the world and to themselves. Whether in direct interaction with the audience or as a living mirror of our hidden parts, I open up spaces in which the perception is concerned with a special attention and where moments of connection are created and explored.

I’ve been a member of the association art-cube – Raum für zeitgenössische Kunst e.V. in Greifswald since it was founded in 2007. Furthermore, I like to find cooperations with other artists to arrange joint art actions, especially in public spaces.
